Metal Sliding Driveway Gates
Space-saving, durable and made to measure for your property
Our metal sliding driveway gates are made to measure in the UK, built for driveways where a swing gate simply has no room to open. A single panel glides smoothly to one side — no arc, no clearance needed — making sliding gates the practical choice for tight plots, level driveways and entrances set close to the road.
Each gate in this collection is hand-built from steel box section, hot-dip galvanised against rust, and finished in a powder-coated colour of your choice — from standard blacks and greys to any RAL colour you specify. Automation is available on every design, and our teams carry out installation nationwide.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a cantilever sliding gate?
A cantilever sliding gate is supported by a counterbalanced frame and slides without any ground track. This makes it ideal for gravel driveways, uneven surfaces, or any situation where a ground rail would be impractical or create a trip hazard. The gate is held in place by upright posts and rollers, with no rail crossing the driveway opening.
How much run-back space do I need for a sliding gate?
For a standard track-guided sliding gate, you need at least the full width of the opening as clear run-back space along your boundary. A 4-metre opening needs 4 metres of clear space alongside it. Cantilever gates need approximately 150% of the opening width. Telescopic sliding gates can reduce this requirement — contact us to discuss your site.
Can sliding gates be electrically automated?
Yes. Sliding gates are very well-suited to electric automation. Rack-and-pinion motor systems are highly reliable and ideal for sliding gates. We can advise on the most appropriate motor for your gate size and frequency of use.
Are sliding gates suitable for sloped driveways?
Sliding gates are often the best choice for sloped driveways where swing gates would scrape the ground when opening. Cantilever sliding gates are particularly well-suited to this situation as there is no ground track to contend with.
