Palisade Fencing
Palisade fencing is the classic vertical steel pale fence line found around depots, substations, industrial estates and any commercial site where a strong, unmistakable security perimeter is wanted. We fabricate every run to measure — height, length, pale spacing and post fixings all built around your actual site rather than fitted to a fixed panel size. Pale Profiles and Head Styles
We work with the full range of palisade pale profiles, including W-section and D-section, finished with whichever head style suits the site: triple pointed for the strongest anti-climb deterrent, single pointed, rounded and notched, or a plain rounded top where a slightly less aggressive appearance is wanted without losing the fence’s core security purpose. Fixings are set so pales can’t be unbolted from outside the perimeter.
Bolt-Down or Dig-In Posts
Posts can be fixed either by bolting down onto existing hard standing — useful where you don’t want to break up a concrete or tarmac surface — or by digging in and concreting for a new installation. Tell us about your ground conditions and we’ll advise on which suits the site.
Built to Your Run, Not a Standard Panel
Palisade fencing sold in fixed panel widths often means an awkward final section where the run doesn’t divide evenly. We fabricate to your actual perimeter length, so the whole run — including any corners, gates, or changes in level — is planned around the site as it really is.
Matching Gates
A palisade fence line is rarely ordered on its own — most sites need at least one gated opening for vehicle or pedestrian access. Our palisade double gates and palisade sliding gate ranges are built in the same profiles and finishes as the fencing itself, so the whole perimeter reads as one consistent installation rather than a fence with a mismatched gate.
Finishes
Fencing is hot-dip galvanised as standard for corrosion resistance, with a polyester powder coat available on top in any RAL colour — black and green are the traditional palisade colours, though any shade can be specified.
Where Palisade Fencing Is Used
Industrial estates, depots, utility and substation compounds, construction sites, and any commercial perimeter where the priority is a strong physical barrier and a clear visual statement of security. Where visibility through the fence line matters more than an imposing presence — school and hospital sites are the typical example — our mesh fencing achieves a comparable level of security with a more open aspect.
Made to Measure
Send us your perimeter length, any corners or level changes, and your preferred height, and we’ll confirm post spacing, pale profile and finish before manufacture begins.
Nationwide Supply and Installation
We supply complete palisade fencing runs nationwide, fabricated to your exact site, with installation available if you’d rather we handle the whole job. Call 0208 911 6000 to discuss your perimeter.
