How a Metal Corner Sliding Gate Works
Instead of a single leaf running in a straight line, the gate is made from hinged panels mounted on wheels that follow a curved track laid into the ground to the shape of your boundary. When it opens, the panel run moves forward and swings around the bend, settling along the return wall or side fencing rather than blocking the driveway. Closed again, every panel lines up edge to edge, reading as one solid gate across the full opening.
Corner Sliding or Telescopic?
If there’s some side room next to your opening but not enough for a conventional single-leaf slider, a telescopic gate — built from two or three leaves that overlap as they slide — may still work. Once that side room runs out completely, a corner sliding gate becomes the practical option instead, provided your boundary has a return or corner for it to travel around.
