Yes. Because the infill is an open welded mesh rather than a solid panel, sight lines through the gate are retained. This is often specified where site security or operational monitoring requires a clear view of the area behind the gate.

Yes. For wider industrial or commercial openings we can supply sliding mesh gates, including cantilever and tracked options depending on the site. Sliding gates are often preferable where there is limited room for the leaf to swing or where the opening is too wide for a practical single or double swing arrangement.

Yes. Where a single leaf would be too wide or heavy, we can supply a matching double-leaf pair with a drop bolt or floor latch on the secondary leaf. Both leaves are made to the same mesh specification so the pair reads as one run.

Mesh gates for industrial and commercial sites are typically built with a heavier box-section or angle frame than a light domestic gate, with the mesh welded or fixed into the frame. We will confirm the frame section and mesh fixing method for your chosen design before production.

Yes. Both swing and sliding mesh gates can be fitted with electric motor kits, either specified at the point of order or retrofitted later. If automation is planned, tell us before production so the gate weight, frame section, and hinge or roller hardware can be selected accordingly.

Mesh gates are delivered fully built and ready to hang, not flat-packed. For heavier industrial gates you will need suitable unloading facilities on site, and we will confirm delivery access with you before dispatch.

The standard finish is a galvanised undercoat with a polyester powder coat in black, with other RAL colours available on request. This is a common industrial finish combination, though the colour coating will show wear over time in high-contact or impact areas like any site gate.
