A palisade sliding gate can run one of two ways, either tracked or cantilever. A cantilever system does away with the ground track entirely, carrying the gate on rollers along a track fixed to a concrete pad to one side, so there’s nothing at ground level in the path of vehicles or plant. Let us know your opening width and the ground conditions on site and we’ll recommend the right system for your depot.

Kit-based sliding systems are usually sold in preset width bands, so we build from your actual opening dimensions instead, including the extra overhang a cantilever system needs when parked open.

A sliding gate uses the same palisade profile range as our fixed fencing — W-section or D-section pales, finished triple pointed, single pointed, rounded and notched, or plain rounded — so it matches the rest of the perimeter rather than looking like a separate product.

Gates are available manually operated or fully automated, with the complete system fitted during installation if required. That fixed, repeatable travel path is exactly what makes a sliding gate suit automation so well.

Gates are hot-dip galvanised as standard, with a polyester powder coat available afterwards in any RAL colour, black and green being the usual choice though not the only one.
