There are two ways a palisade sliding gate can travel — tracked or cantilever. A tracked system runs on a rail set into the ground across the opening, which works reliably on a level concrete or tarmac base — the standard surface on most commercial and industrial sites. Where kit-based palisade sliding systems are sold in preset width bands, we build from your actual opening dimensions instead — including the extra overhang a cantilever system needs to carry the gate clear of the opening when parked open.
