Yes. Our gates can be hung left-hand or right-hand to suit your driveway layout, and for pairs you can choose which leaf opens first if you plan to use a pedestrian latch or automation.

Yes. We can supply swing gate motor kits suited to the size and weight of your gates, either at the time of order or retrofitted later. The hinges, leaf weight and post strength all need to be compatible with automation, so tell us at the ordering stage if you plan to automate.

Swing gates need clearance at the bottom for ground movement, gravel or paving, and at the hinge and latch sides to prevent binding. We agree these tolerances with you during the measurement and drawing approval stage so the gate hangs and swings cleanly.

Steel driveway gates are fitted with load-rated hinges sized to the weight and width of each leaf. Heavier or wider gates may require adjustable hinges or additional hinge points, which we specify at the design stage.

Most pairs benefit from a drop bar or latch fitted to the secondary leaf to hold it in place, while the primary leaf carries the main lock or latch. We can supply this as part of the gate order or advise on what suits your setup.

Yes, but the slope affects how the gate is hung and the clearance at the opening edge. We need to know the direction and degree of fall so we can set the gate to swing with adequate ground clearance without leaving an excessive gap when closed.
