Description
These flat panel composite driveway gates strip the design language back to its bare minimum — one large oak-effect composite panel per leaf, held within a crisp black metal frame that outlines each panel with a thin border. There are no visible board lines, no cross-braces, no glazed strips — just clean flat surfaces of wood-plastic composite behind a rectilinear frame.
The minimalism is deliberate. A flat-panel design lets the composite’s oak grain do the talking without any competing horizontal or vertical rhythm. Against a period property with lots of window detail, or against a modern rendered elevation, the calm flatness of the panel reads as considered rather than plain. The black frame is deep enough to give each leaf definition without becoming a visual weight of its own.
Construction remains the same durable pairing found across the full composite range: a load-bearing metal frame and wood-plastic composite (WPC) infill boards. The composite delivers the wood look without the vulnerabilities of real timber — no rot at the base, no splintering along cut edges, no need for a paintbrush every summer.
