Description

These metal frame composite driveway gates feature a warm oak-effect composite panel across the main leaf area, capped by a band of slim horizontal metal rails at the top of each leaf. The silver metal framing extends around the perimeter of both leaves and ties into the top rail detail, giving the gate a distinctly modern, light-industrial character.

The horizontal metal top rails do two jobs. Visually, they break the solid oak composite surface and let a strip of sky show through the top of the gate — useful on darker driveways or where you want to soften what could otherwise be a heavy face. Structurally, they extend the frame’s rigidity across the top of each leaf, so the leaves resist twisting even at wider spans.

The composite infill is wood-plastic composite (WPC) — the same durable board that features across the range. It resists the weather without needing a paintbrush and it carries a subtle woodgrain rather than a flat printed finish. The metal frame is the structural backbone; between them, the two materials deliver a gate that has the appearance of quality timber and the maintenance profile of a modern engineered material.

The 3/4 split configuration adapts this modern rail-top vocabulary to a practical everyday entrance. The larger leaf is for vehicles; the compact pedestrian gate handles foot access. Both leaves carry the oak composite panel and the horizontal top rails, so the two sit together as a matched pair despite the difference in width. Independent locking on each leaf allows separate control of foot and vehicle access.

WPC boards come in a variety of colours to suit different property palettes — the pale oak shown is one option and cooler greys, deeper browns and near-black finishes are equally available. The silver metal frame can also be specified in alternative finishes if a different accent is preferred. Every set is measured, made and installed to the specific opening, so the frame and composite line up cleanly at the pillars.
