Scrollwork Top Horizontal Bar Wrought Iron Style Driveway Gates
£1,021.77+ Price depends upon Sizes
Wrought iron style double driveway gates pairing horizontal bars with decorative scrollwork along the curved upper section. Open lower sections keep the entrance visually light.
Description
Decorative scrollwork sits above a simple horizontal-bar framework, creating a contrast between straight rails and curved ornament. This wrought iron gate design suits an entrance where the upper silhouette should provide the decorative focus while the main body remains open.
Features
- Curved top sections with ornamental scroll detailing.
- Horizontal lower rails carried across two matching leaves.
- British made to measure for the agreed driveway opening.
- Powder-coated finish with the colour selected for your order.
Design Details
The scrolls add movement along the upper edge, lifting the outline above the repeated horizontal rails below. Their placement gives the gate a more decorative character than a plain horizontal-bar design. The open lower framework keeps sightlines through the entrance, so it should not be chosen for solid-panel screening. Confirm the scroll arrangement and proportions against the required width and height.

FAQ
Does the scrollwork mean these are genuine wrought iron?
The scrolls establish the decorative style, not the metal composition. Ask for the actual fabrication material to be stated in the quotation.
Is the horizontal-bar section private?
No. It is an open framework that allows views through the gate. The scrollwork adds ornament rather than a solid visual screen.
What should I provide when requesting this design?
Send the opening width, required height and photographs of the driveway and supports. Confirm available opening space and the preferred decorative arrangement.
