Description

These ornate aluminium driveway gates feature a softly curved arched top with a densely packed line of decorative finials rising along the crown. The result is a rich, heritage-style silhouette that reads as wrought-iron in character while delivering the practical benefits of a modern aluminium build.

Directly beneath the crown, a detailed scrollwork band runs across the width of both leaves, with tight vertical bars carrying the pattern down through the mid-section. The bottom third simplifies into cleaner, more widely spaced vertical bars, giving the design a strong base and preventing the ornamentation from feeling overwhelming.

The double-leaf format opens centrally between traditional brick or stone pillars, and the deep matt black powder coat highlights every scroll, finial and joint against lighter backgrounds. The finish is chosen for depth of colour and long-term weather performance rather than sheen alone.

Made-to-measure to your driveway width and height, the ornament is scaled proportionally so the pattern remains balanced whether your opening is compact or wide.

Because the scrollwork is dense across the mid-section, this design shows best on wider driveway openings where the pattern has room to breathe and the eye can follow it edge to edge without feeling crowded. On narrower entrances the same ornament still works but reads as more concentrated and formal. In matt black the design carries a strong wrought-iron heritage character; the same design in a lighter powder-coated colour softens the ornament considerably and can suit garden-facing or coastal entrances better than road-front ones. Set against pale render or painted stone pillars, the deep frame throws every scroll and finial into sharp silhouette, making this a strong choice for owners specifically looking for the visual language of period wrought iron delivered in a lower-maintenance material.
