Description
The UKMDG3 is a traditional made-to-measure wrought iron driveway gate defined by its tall, sweeping arched top and confident, uncluttered proportions. It carries a timeless country-house character that suits both period and new-build frontages without ever looking fussy.
A row of evenly spaced vertical bars rises to decorative spear-tip railheads along the curved upper frame, lending the gate a classic, gently defensive silhouette. The arch is struck as a true, even curve, so the top reads cleanly whether the gate is open or closed. The spacing is generous enough to keep the design feeling open and graceful.
The real signature sits at the foot of each leaf, where large, boldly scrolled volutes curl inward in a balanced mirror-image pattern. This swirling base detail anchors the gate visually and adds a handcrafted quality that mass-produced gates cannot match. The contrast between the slim upper bars and the bold lower volutes gives the gate real visual balance.
