Description

These aluminium driveway gates take a heritage silhouette and finish it in a soft sage green, giving the entrance a distinctive, country-estate character that sits particularly well against stone walls, brick pillars and heavily planted approaches.

The top rail rises to a graceful centre arch, crowned by a row of fleur-de-lis finials that follow the curve up and back down. Below the arch, an ornate ring-motif band runs across both leaves, with intricate wrought-iron style bars carrying the pattern down through the mid-section.

A shaped lower panel features a smooth painted surface interrupted by two decorative round bosses per leaf, giving the base additional visual weight without lattice or plank detailing. It’s a more formal treatment than either a plain kick-plate or a lattice base, and it complements the ornate upper section without competing with it.

Manufactured to your exact driveway opening, with the arch height, finial count and boss placement all scaled proportionally so the design remains balanced whatever the final width.

The sage green finish is what carries the design’s personality — the same silhouette in matt black would read as a formal wrought-iron statement gate, while in sage green it reads as country-estate elegance without the imposing character. That colour choice pushes the ornate detailing toward the softer end of its range, making the design more welcoming than formal. The decorative bosses on the lower panel are unusual — most traditional gate designs either use lattice, kick-plates or plain painted panels at the base, and the boss detailing here adds visual weight and craft feel without the geometric coldness of lattice. This style pairs particularly well with stone-walled properties, gardens with mature planting, and rural or semi-rural settings where the softer green tones sit naturally against the surroundings. Compared with matt-black equivalents of the same silhouette, this design is markedly more approachable.
