Description

These traditional arched aluminium driveway gates draw the eye upward with a gently rising curved top rail, crowned by a row of tapered spear finials that step in height to trace the arch. The overall silhouette carries an unmistakably classical presence, well suited to period homes, stone-pillared driveways and properties where a stately entrance is part of the character.

Beneath the finials, a distinctive band of interlocking circular ring motifs follows the curve, adding decorative rhythm without heaviness. Slender vertical bars fill the main body, spaced to preserve sightlines through the gate while retaining a strong sense of enclosure. A matching row of shorter spear finials trims the base, mirroring the top and framing the design end to end.

The double-leaf configuration opens on a central meeting stile, giving a wide, symmetrical driveway opening for vehicles. The frame is finished in a deep matt black powder coat, drawing out the crisp lines of every finial and ring against pale backgrounds.

Every gate is manufactured to your exact opening size, so the proportions, bar count and finial spacing are balanced to your driveway rather than cut to a stock template.

Viewed from the road, the stepped rhythm of the finials draws the eye toward the centre of the drive, giving the entrance a natural focal point rather than a flat wall of bars. Up close, the ring band beneath the arch reveals cleaner welding lines than a traditional wrought-iron equivalent, with each circle sitting cleanly against the next. The design pairs particularly well with grey stone or red brick pillars where the black frame provides strong contrast, and works equally in a formal drive setting or a countryside cottage approach. Compared with fully ornate arched designs featuring dense scrollwork, this profile keeps its classical presence but reads as more restrained, making it a good middle ground for owners who want traditional character without the visual weight of heavily patterned wrought iron.
